About Ryan Valentine
I'm a certified personal trainer and CPA Wellness competitor from Ajax, Ontario. I coach women through body recomposition online, using a method I built around the actual training, nutrition, and recovery principles that work for female bodies.
My background
I've worked as a personal trainer in Ontario gyms for years before going fully online. I'm a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and an active competitor in the CPA Wellness division (Canadian Physique Alliance). My specialty is body recomposition: the process of losing body fat and building lean muscle at the same time, without the bulk-and-cut cycles most of the bodybuilding industry pushes on women.
Most of my clients have spent years undereating and overdoing cardio. They come to me skinny but soft, frustrated, and convinced their body is broken. It isn't. They've been given the wrong playbook. The Recomp Method is the right one.
What I specialize in
- Body recomposition for women. Losing fat and building muscle in the same training block, using strength training and protein-forward nutrition.
- Online and virtual coaching. Custom programs delivered through Trainerize, with weekly check-ins, video form review, and direct messaging.
- Macro coaching that isn't restrictive. I build your nutrition around real food and your actual schedule, not 1,200-calorie meal plans.
- First-time bodybuilding competitors. CPA Wellness, true novice prep, and the long lean-gain off-season most coaches skip.
- Postpartum and busy professional women. Programs built around real life, not gym-rat fantasy schedules.
The Recomp Method
The Recomp Method is the system I've built around five principles: eat enough food, prioritize protein, strength train with progressive overload, recover like it matters, and track more than the scale. It's the same framework I used to step on stage in CPA Wellness and the same framework I use with every coaching client.

Where I work
